Organisation established

UK Asian Business Council Limited was incorporated, building on its earlier identity as Middlesex Asian Business Association.

Parliamentary business engagement

UKABC's House of Commons Business Breakfast Club created a platform for business leaders and public representatives to meet and exchange practical ideas.

International business activity

UKABC developed country, sector and trade-related programmes across the UK and international markets.

Embassy and high commission engagement

Country-focused business events and roundtables included activity connected with Uzbekistan, Malta and wider investment opportunities.

UK–India and parliamentary visibility

House of Commons activity, Rising Bharat engagement and wider UK–India connections formed an important part of the programme.

Canvas For Care

UKABC developed Canvas For Care as a flagship cultural and community initiative, beginning with a Founding & Recognition Ceremony at the House of Lords.
