Our identity

Who we are

UK Asian Business Council (UKABC) is a UK-based international business network that brings together business leaders, governments, embassies, high commissions, institutions and communities.

For more than a decade, we have created trusted settings in which people can meet, understand one another’s priorities and explore credible opportunities. Our relationships extend from boardrooms and diplomatic missions to the Houses of Parliament and international markets.

We support UK organisations looking overseas and international organisations seeking to establish, invest or grow in the United Kingdom. Our strongest roots are in UK–India engagement, with an expanding network across Asia, Africa, Europe and other growth markets.

“The most valuable international opportunities begin with trust—the right people, brought together for the right reason, with a shared interest in making progress.”

Our international role

UKABC works across a broad international ecosystem: businesses and entrepreneurs; embassies and high commissions; economic-development organisations; trade bodies; professional advisers; universities; and trusted delivery partners.

Over the years, we have convened dialogue at the Houses of Parliament, worked with diplomatic missions and welcomed senior leaders from the UK and overseas. These relationships allow us to create informed, focused engagement—not simply large networking events.
