A graduate of the LSE, Sanam is President of the National Indian Students Union UK (NISU), a national platform connecting students of Indian origin in the UK. Sanam possesses a fundamental belief in the power of youth in bringing about change to the status quo. By developing a network of future leaders, Sanam is creating a unique platform that will foster the Indo-British relationship of the future. Her vision lies in the power of youth as being the future of India and Indo-British ties, and a platform nurturing them into future leaders from an early stage. Entrepreneurship is a key stepping stone to achieving success in society going forward, and at UKABC Sanam is looking to develop these skills in youngsters. Aside from her responsibilities at NISU, Sanam is a financial analyst working for a global investment management firm, a freelance journalist and often indulges in educational consultancy.
